Special Called School Board Meeting: 31 Mar 2015

This is official notification that there will be a Special Called School Board Meeting Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 6pmCT, at the Adair County Board of Education Conference Room, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, for the purpose of:

  1. CONSIDER THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE ADAIR COUNTY LOCAL PLANNING COMMITTEE (LPC) MADE IN THEIR MARCH 31, 2015 MEETING TO APPROVE THE DISTRICT FACILITY PLAN (DFP) DEVELOPED BY THE LPC AND APPROVED BY THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION STAFF

  2. REQUEST THAT A LOCAL PUBLIC HEARING TO RECORD TESTIMONY ON THE DISTRICT FACILITY PLAN (DFP) BE SCHEDULED AND APPOINT ALAN REED AS HEARING OFFICER TO CONDUCT THE PUBLIC HEARING. THE HEARING OFFICER SHALL PREPARE A REPORT FROM THE TEMPLATE PROVIDED BY THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR FINAL SUBMISSION TO THE LOCAL BOARD FOLLOWING THE PUBLIC HEARING

  3. AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE SHERMAN CARTER BARNHART TO DEVELOP MASTER PLAN CONSISTENT WITH DISTRICT FACILITY PLAN

  4. APPROVAL TO HOLD ADAIR COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL PROM AT AN OFFSITE COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENT

  5. EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO KRS 61.810(1)(C) PENDING LITIGATION

  6. ACTION PURSUANT TO KRS 61.810(1)(C) PENDING LITIGATION

  7. ADJOURNMENT
