Says families of Bypass Fatalities would say Shut it Down Says it is a death trap. Suggests changes which might cost a little money, and asks: How can you put a price on a human life? By Diana Long Personal commentary Too many lives have been lost due to that intersection! Too many have been injured as well. This intersection is nothing but a death trap. Ask the families that have suffered a loss due to the intersection I would bet they would tell you the solution would be shut it down!< Of course we know that's not going to happen. I think it needs speed reduced with Constant monitoring and patrolling and rumble strips and caution lights at every end of that road as well as all the way around the intersection. Some may say there are no funds to do this, but then ask yourself: How can you put a price on life? Everyone needs to be more cautious entering that intersection you may be paying attention but another driver may not. - Diana Long Comments re article 74199 How many lives lost at Bypass/KY 61 intersection This story was posted on 2015-03-29 19:21:58
