Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin, Adair Co., KY (1959-2015)

Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin passed into God's eternal care on March 27, 2015 at her home in Adair County.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Sandlin at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718 at 12pmCT /1pmET, on Monday, March 30, 2015. Bro. Michael Woodrum will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery, Hwy 1752, Taylor County, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 30, from 10amCT/11amET until time for the service.



Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin, Adair Co., KY (1959-2015)


Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin, daughter of the late Kindred and Julia (West) Taulbee, passed into God's eternal care on March 27, 2015 at her home in Adair County. Born February 16, 195, She was 56 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age.

Mrs. Sandlin was a homemaker and the devoted wife of Billy Sandlin, who preceded her in death. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs Sandlin leaves to mourn her passing:
  • Five children: Melissa Stokes and husband Walter of Campbellsville, KY; Jimmy Sandlin of Whitesburg, KY; Wilma May of Port Clinton, Ohio; Angel Sandlin and fiancee Brandon Sturgill of Campbellsville, KY; and Billy K. Sandlin and wife Sandra of Tiffin, Ohio

  • Two siblings: Annie Halcomb and Glen Taulbee, both of Tiffin, Ohio

  • Five grandchildren: Cody May, Mica Sandlin, Bryce Stokes, Trenton Sandlin, and Danelle Mason

  • And a host of other extended family and friends.
Also, to the entire Sturgill family, Granny Jean loves you.

She was also preceded in death by two siblings, Roy Taulbee and Myrtle Taulbee.
