LWC Baseball sweeps 3-game series before hometown crowd at Egnew Park Blue Raiders win opener on walk-off homer, rout the Bears in nightcap. Perfect weather, great Baseball action, with an unforgettable homer off the bat of Alex Bautista on the last pitch of the game for a walk-off three-run home run over the left field fence to cap a 9-6 victory Up next for the Blue Raiders is a home game against No. 24-ranked Union (KY) at 3pmCT on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Egnew Park, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY 42728. By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team swept the three-game weekend series with a pair of wins on Saturday, March 28, 2015, against visiting Pikeville (KY) at Egnew Park. With their three-game sweep of the Bears (12-15, 0-8 Mid-South Conference) this weekend, the Blue Raiders (21-11, 7-2 MSC) extended their current winning streak to a season-best six games. During the opener, Lindsey Wilson trailed throughout the game until the final pitch. With the score knotted up at 6-6 in the bottom of the 14th inning, Alex Bautista lofted a walk-off, three-run home run over the left field fence to cap a 9-6 victory. After Chris Erker set down the Bears in one-two-three fashion during the top of 14th, back-to-back singles by Brandon Munoz and Nazario gave Lindsey Wilson two runners on base with no outs. After going 0-for-5 to start the day, Bautista hit a first-pitch homer off Logan Sales to end game one. The nightcap proved to lack the suspense of game one as the Blue Raiders won, 22-1. Lindsey Wilson finished with 18 base hits, while game two starter Scott Sebald (6-1) scattered seven hits over six innings pitched. He allowed one earned run and struck out 10 batters with zero walks. Bautista drove in six runs, while Kory Weeks went 2-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored.
