Irvin indicate that one teacher has been suspended, and subsequently resigns, district receives word of on ongoing. Russell County School Superintendent Michael Ford has issued a statement to the media today, Thursday, March 26, 2015 "Recently, the Russell County School District received information that allegations were being investigated regarding inappropriate communications between a teacher and a student. Upon being presented documentation, that teacher was suspended and resigned a few days later.The name of the teacher and the nature of the inappropriate communications has not be disclosed. -LARRY SMITH, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications.
