Writer asks about bicycle helmet safety: Are they good enough? Rickie Williams has asked about the helmets being used by today's bicyclist. Here in the course of less than 72 hours Adair County has encountered two severe head trauma accidents, he noted. He said that there are reports that at least in one of the accidents, the helmet did crack. "In one aspect, that is good in that it absorbed some of the impact.
