Liffie Weir, 91, of Windsor, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Russell County Hospital.

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, at 12pmCT, on Thursday, March 26, 2015, with Bro. Gerald Burton officiating. Visitation will be after 9amCT, on Thursday, at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs, KY. Interment at Wilkerson Cemetery.


Liffie Weir, 91, Windsor, KY (1923-2015)

Liffie was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY, on December 10, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Rosie (Woodrum) and Grover Fair. She died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 91 years, three months, and 14 days.

She was a member of Bethany Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Liffie is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Charlene Sayers, of Cookville, TN; and Lou Dause, of Norwood, OH

  • Three sons: Garry Weir, of Russell Springs, KY; Larry Weir, of Windsor, KY and Michael Weir, of Somerset, KY.

  • One sister: Margaret Taylor, of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Ray Fair, of Ohio; and Marvin Fair, of Ohio

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • And a host of great-grandchildren

  • And one great-great grandchild
