Pat Thompson is named Campbellsville Police Chief Makes history as first woman police chief in organization's history By Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 The Campbellsville City Council, meeting in special session tonight, voted 7-4 to accept Mayor Tony Young's recommendation to name veteran Campbellsville Police Officer, Assistant Chief Pat Thompson, to succeed Chief Tim Hazelette following Hazelette's announced resignation day, March 26, 2015. The new chief makes history as the first woman to head the force. She was selected from among 37 excellent applicants for the position.
