She was the daughter of the the Chester & Kate Philpot Gregory. She leaves four direct living descendants and four step living descendants. She was a factory worker.

Mary Huff, 70, of Columbia, KY (formerly of Russell Springs) died Saturday, March 7, 2015 a the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Mary L.Huff will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Friends may call after 11amCT, Tuesday. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Russell County, KY.


Pallbearers: Ronnie Bloyd, Paul Melson, Eric Shepherd, Derek Popplewell, Roger Derek High, and Ricky Simpson.

Mary Huff, 70, Columbia, KY (1944-2015)


She was born June 11, 1944 in Manchester, Clay County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Chester & Kate Philpot Gregory. She died Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 70 years, eight months, and 24 days.

She was a factory worker.

In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Downey; three sisters, Lil Spearman, Sarah Perdue, Sharon K. Gregory; and five brothers, J.B., Henderson, Ori, Hugh, and Fount Gregory.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Tim (Etta) Duncan, Columbia, KY; and Roger (Susan) High, Liberty, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Roger Derek High and Trystan Clay Downey

  • Four step grandchildren: Cindy Melson, Eric Shepherd, Mathew Stephen Lynn, and Shae Luanne Lynn

  • One sister: Lula Johnson, Russell Springs, KY
