KSP Post 15, Activity for February 2015 By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - During the month of February 2015, there were 19 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There was one fatal collision during the month of February in the Post 15 area. Rhonda Yates, age 51 of Danville KY was killed on 02/18/15 in Washington Co KY. This brings our yearly fatality count to 7 compared with 4 through this same period in 2014. Statewide fatality count stands at 95 compared with 85 through this same period in 2014. During the month of February 2015, there were 702 citations written, 42 courtesy notices written, 818 vehicles inspected, 494 complaints answered, 161 motorists assisted, 48 criminal cases opened and 102 criminal arrests made.
