The Adair Sheriff\'s Office responded to two separate vehicle accidents on Monday, March 2, 2015. The first accident occurred before 11amCT, on KY 55 North/Campbellsville Road at the intersection of KY 55 & Kellyville Road.



The accident happened when Matthew Taylor of Green County who was driving northbound had slowed to turn his 1996 Mercury onto Kellyville Road and Ina Willis of Columbia who was driving behind Taylor, failed to stop and rear ended the vehicle. All parties refused medical transport on scene, traffic was briefly blocked until the vehicles could be removed.

Single vehicle accident in The Millerfields

The second accident was a single vehicle collision on Millerfield Road, KY 76 near the Adair Russell line. Christina Russell of Russell County was operating a 1996 Toyota eastbound when she dropped off onto a steep shoulder then over correcting losing control.

The vehicle then flipped in the ditch and came to a stop overturned. Russell and her passenger Amy Scaggs also of Russell County, were both unharmed. --Deputy Adam Cravens
