By Brent Campbell, Adair Co. Schools Athletic Director

The Adair County Lady Indians continued their post season play in the Fifth Region Tournament at North Hardin High School Sunday evening. The Lady Indians defeated the 18th District Runner-Up the Lady Colonels of Caverna by a score of 56-45.

After a last second bucket by Beth Owens was eventually waved off, the Lady Indians ended the first half leading by one. The Lady Indians outscored Caverna by seven to lead by eight after three periods. Adair County extended their lead by three more points in the 4th quarter to end the game with an eleven point victory.

The Lady Indians will now go on to play the state's top ranked team E-town on Friday March 6, 2015 in the semi-finals of the Fifth Region Tournament. The game will begin at 5pmCT at North Hardin High School in Radcliff. Good luck ladies on Friday.
