ACHS Lady Indians 20th District Championship first in 10 years Congratulations to Lady Indians and Coaches James Turner Amanda McCloud and Stacia Hill. Alex Turner named Most Outstanding Player. Several Lady Indians named to All District and All Tournament teams; Whitney Turner named to 2015 All Academic Team. ACHS advances to 5th Regional playoffs in Radcliff, this year as Champions, not runners-up. Click on headline for complete story By Brent Campbell, Athletic Director Adair County, KY, School District The Adair County Lady Indians captured the 2015 20th District basketball title this evening at Campbellsville High School. The Lady Indians came out victorious over the Marion County Lady Knights by a score of 49 to 39. The Lady Indians held off a late Marion County run to cap off the victory. This marks the first time since 2005-2006 the Lady Indians have won the 20th District Title. The Lady Indians will now advance to the Fifth Region basketball tournament held at North Hardin High School in Radcliff, Kentucky. A number of Lady Indians won awards during the 20th District Tournament. Whitney Turner was named to the 2015 All Academic Team. Alex Keltner, Beth Owens, Harlee Smock, and Brooklyn Coomer were all named to the 2015 20th District All Season Team. Alex Keltner, Beth Owens, and Harlee Smock were all named to the 2015 20th District All Tournament team. Alex Keltner was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2015 20th District Tournament. Congratulations to the Lady Indians and Coach James Turner, Coach Amanda McCloud and Coach Stacia Hill on being crowned the 20th District Champions. Best of luck in the 2015 Fifth Region Tournament.
