Thawing, ice breakup then jamming causing flooding at Roley

(CASEY CREEK, ROLEY, ADAIR COUNTY, KY) - Here in Roley, the creek starting breaking loose with all the ice. Then it jammed down the creek, so it has started flooding here.

The field across from us is completely under water now. And it is out even with the road here and still rising.

PS: Daril & I are fine. We finally came home Friday night. And we are warm and have plenty to eat now at home we are very blessed GOD IS GOOD. - Frances

When the ice began to thaw the frozen creek began to break up into chunks of ice, just looking like an orderly runoff had begun.
