COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Lindsey Wilson Men's Indoor Track & Field Friday, 20 Feb 2015, finished 9th of 19 teams at the Ohio State Buckeye Tune Up event hosted by Ohio State University at the French Field House, 460 Woody Hayes Dr Columbus, OH.

In a field comprised mainly of NCAA Division I competition, the Blue Raiders accumulated 17 total team points while putting forth a strong showing in the final regular season event of the indoor season.
In the 60 meter hurdles event, Johnson recorded a time of 8.52 in the preliminaries to qualify for the event finals. Once in the finals, he ran a career-best 8.41 to finish in fifth place and grab four points towards the Blue Raiders’ team total.

A short time later, Johnson competed in the 400 meter dash clocking in at 50.78 for his other fifth place finish and another four team points.

Williamson was the highest Blue Raider finisher of the day coming in at fourth place in the one mile run event with a time of 4:16.90. He not only won his heat of the event, but his career-best time was good enough for a national "A" standard, adding five Lindsey Wilson team points. It is the third event Williamson has achieved a national standard in this season.

Williamson just missed out on another scoring opportunity in the 3,000 meter run, finisher one spot out of the points in ninth place with a time of 8:44.78. Ross was the final individual to tally Blue Raider team points as he took fifth place in the triple jump. His leap of 13.33 meters (43-09.00 feet) picked up three points. Ross also fell one spot shy of adding additional points, but he finished in ninth in the long jump event at 6.82 meters (22-04.50 feet).

The Blue Raider quartet of Ross, Johnson, Josh Corral and Marcus Terrell grabbed the final Lindsey Wilson team point as the squad took 10th place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:31.94.

Host Ohio State took home the team honors with 142 total points. Mount Union (Ohio) finished second with 82.50 points and Miami (Ohio) finished third with 60.50 points.
