Michael Lawless, 66, Russell Co., KY (1948-2015)

He was a farmer and was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was a member of a large, highly regarded family. He was the son of the late Frank and Ila Emerson Lawless. His wife, Christy Eads Lawless, survives. He leaves six direct living descendants.

Michael Lawless, 66, of Russell Springs, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service for Michael Lawless will be 10amCT, Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating. Visitation after 5pmCT. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Russell County, KY.



Active Pallbearers: Anthony Lawless, Allen McQueary, Keith Owens, Olis Hart, Jedidah Lawless, and Benjamin Lawless.

Mr. Lawless was born July 18, 1948, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Frank and Ila Emerson Lawless. He died Friday, February 13, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 66 years, six months, and 26 days.

He was a farmer and was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Burchett.

Mr Lawless is survived by:
  • His wife: Christy Eads Lawless, of Russell Springs
  • Four children: Lexia Lawless, Skyla Lawless, Anthony Lawless, all of Russell Springs, and Adam Lawless, of Jamestown
  • Two grandchildren: Avery Brake, of Monticello, amd Joseph Lawless, of Jamestown
  • Six sisters: Dean Bernard, Georgia Edmonds, Barbara Edmonds, Wanda Brown, and Eloise Owens, all of Russell Springs, and Becky (Mike) Acey, of Somerset
  • One brother: Bruce (Connie) Lawless, of Russell Springs
  • His mother-in-law: Lucreta Eads, of Russell Springs
