Basketball: LWC Men upset Georgetown 100-83 at Biggers Next: - Lindsey Wilson Men's Basket hosts Shawnee State of Portsmouth, OH, at 2pmCT, Sat 14 Feb 2015, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY – The Lindsey Wilson men’s basketball team upset No. 9 Georgetown (KY) 100-83 on Thursday night, February 12, 2014, in Biggers Sports Center. With the victory, the Blue Raiders have now won five of the past six games, beating three ranked opponents in the stretch. Charles Sutton poured in a career-high 17 points while Julian Edmonson finished with 16 and Tony Horne had 10. As Lindsey Wilson led 20-12 with 12:48 remaining in the first half, Georgetown went on a 14-6 run to tie the game at 26 with 8:41 to go before halftime. Lindsey Wilson totaled a 53.4 percentage from the floor and the Tigers shot 46.3 percent. Georgetown did not hit a three-point shot in the second half tallying a 6.3 percentage for the game, while Lindsey Wilson shot 47.8 percent from beyond the arc.
