There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Donovan Dean on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Jesus Name Church, 80 Tabernacle Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718 at 1pmCT/2pmET. Elder Rueal Boils, Elder Jimmie Sharp, and Elder Ronnie Gowen will be officiating. The family will receive friends after 4pmCT/5pmET, Friday, February 13, 2015 at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718 after 5:00 PM, and on Saturday, February 14, after 10amCT/11amET, at the church. Interment will follow in the Jesus Name Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jonathan Holley, Darren Durbin, Hunter Durbin, Gary DeWeese, Allen Wilson, Jacob Roby, and Joshua Epperson. Honorary pallbearers are Collin Dean and Dylan Durbin. Perhaps Job described Donovan's life best when he said that man born of woman is of few days, and those full of trouble. But while Donovan's natural heart struggled, his spiritual heart overflowed with love for all that knew him. His quick and infectious smile could brighten the dullest of days.
