Black ice a factor in injury accident on East KY 80 By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Tpr. Justin Phillips is investigating a collision that occurred today, Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at approximately 8:22amCT, 10 miles east of Columbia on KY 80. 21-year-old Bethany A. Bray, of Campbellsville, was operating a 2002 Dodge, traveling west on KY 80, when she lost control of her vehicle after driving through black ice. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a rock wall. Bray was seat-belted and was treated and released at Russell County Hospital. A passenger, 1-year-old Braxton Morgan, was also treated and released and was in a child restraint device. This story was posted on 2015-02-10 16:40:28
