One vehicle injury accident on Meadow Creek Road 9 Feb 2015 Taylor County Sheriff's Office reports that wet roads, speed, are factors in accident. Driver extricated from vehicle, transported to Taylor Regional Hospital and then on to University of Louisville Hospital Click on headline for complete story From Taylor County Sheriff's Office As reported by Larry Smith, FM 99.9 the Big Dawg, FM 92.7 the WAVE The Taylor County Sheriff's Office investigated a single vehicle injury accident which occurred Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:54amET, on Meadow Creek Road, Campbellsville, KY. The was extricated from the vehicle, transported to Taylor Regional Hospital, and from there to UL Hospital, in Louisville, KY. Kimbra C. Compton, 24, of N Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, was operating a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville eastbound on Meadow Creek Road, approximately two miles south of Campbellsville, entered a curve, and lost control, according to the TCSO report, due to wet roadway conditions and going too fast for the roadway conditions. Compton's vehicle's roof collided with a tree. She was partially ejected from the vehicle and had to be extricated by Campbellsville/Taylor County Fire/Rescue. TCSO Deputy Sheriff Branden Wilson was assisted on the scene by CTCEMS, CTC Fire/Resuce, and Taylor County Volunteer Fire Department.
