Barren County has an excellent animal shelter Has a strong group of volunteers and supporters There is an excellent animal shelter in Barren County. It is called Barren River Animal Welfare Association, BRAWA. I have adopted animals from this shelter and the one thing it has is a strong group of volunteers and supporters.
