Jack Freeman Woods, age 75 of the Crossroads Community, passed away on Saturday January 31st, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held 6pmCT/7pmET, Thursday February 5, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jeremy Gilliam officiating. Visitation will be held 4pmCT/5pmET. Thursday February 5, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. Cremation Rites will be honored after the services.

Jack Freeman Woods, was born in Kings Mountain, KY on Saturday, September 30, 1939. He was the son of the late Willie D. and Eva Taylor Woods. He passed away on Saturday January 31, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 75 years, four months, and one day.

He was a self-employed painter and carpenter.

Survivors include:
  • His spouse: Geraldine Coleman Woods of Lancaster, KY

  • Two sons: Michael Woods of Cincinnati, OH and Dwight Roberts of Science Hill, KY,

  • Three daughters: Kim Palmer and Kay Roberts both of Lancaster, KY; and Karen Emerson of Dunnville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • One sister: Norma Baker of Cincinnati, OH

  • Two brothers: Jerry Woods of Naples, FL and Terry Woods of Liberty, KY
