Adair County's state legislators presented Blue Raider helmets Randy Burns makes presentation to Sen. Max Wise, Rep. Bam Carney at Town Meeting in Adair Annex on Thursday, January 29, 2015 Click on headline for article with photo(s) By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Adair County’s two state legislators were presented Lindsey Wilson College football helmets Thursday morning, January 29, 2014, following their town-hall meeting with constituents in the Adair County Government Annex. Although Kentucky politics can sometimes be a contact sport, the helmets were given to state Rep. John “Bam” Carney and Sen. Max Wise were given the helmets to display in their Frankfort offices, not to use whenever work inside the State Capitol gets rough. Carney, of Campbellsville, Ky., has represented the 51st House District -- which includes Adair and Taylor counties -- since 2009. Wise, also of Campbellsville, is serving his first term as the senator of the 16th District, which includes Adair, Clinton, Cumberland, McCreary, Russell, Taylor and Wayne counties.
