She was the longest living member of New Friendship United Baptist Church. She was a native of Russell Springs, KY and a resident of the city at the time of her death there. She was the daughter of the late Lola Rachel (Walters) and Alexander Wilson. She leaves one direct living descendant.She was a loving, kind, compasionate person who loved the Lord and cherished her family and friends.

Funeral Services at New Friendship United Baptist Church, 5448 E KY 80, Russell Springs, at 10amCT, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, with Bro. Paul Roy and Bro. Andy Robertson officiating. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner, Russell Springs, KY. Interment at New Friendship United Baptist Russell Springs, Ky



Margie Robertson, 96, Russell Co., KY (1919-2015)

Margie was born in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY on Thursday, January 16, 1919. She was a daughter of the late Lola Rachel (Walters) and Alexander Wilson. She died Sunday, February 1, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 96 years, 16 days.

Besides her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband Eld. Monroe Robertson, brothers and sisters, Leslie, Otha, Ernest, Luther, Gertrude and Zilpha.

She was the longest living member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

She is survived by:
  • A daughter, Margaret Ann (Orman) Rogers, of Faubush, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews.
