Russell Co., KY, brothers arrested on Georgia burglary charges Arrests made int he Webb's Crossroads Community of Russell County, KY, where a large quantity of prescription pain pills, allegedly stolen from a Waycross, GA pharmacy, were recovered. Arrest warrants have been issued for a third Russell Countian. Click on headline for complete story By the Russell County Sheriff's Office, Clete McAninch, Sheriff from Larry Smith, The Big Dawg FM 99.9 and The WAVE, FM 92.7 JAMESTOWN, KY - A multi-agency investigation in two states has resulted in charges being filed against three Russell County men in connection with a pharmacy burglary in southern Georgia last weekend. The investigation is ongoing and involves the Russell County Sheriff's Department, Russell Springs Police Department, Jamestown Police Department, the Waycross, GA Police Department and Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). During the early hours of Sunday, January 25, 2015, a pharmacy was burglarized in Waycross, Georgia resulting in a large quantity of narcotics being stolen. Late Thursday night, January 29, 2015, a large quantity of prescription pain pills stolen from the Georgia pharmacy were recovered at a residence on West KY 76 in the Webbs Crossroads community. Also late Thursday night, two individuals were arrested and one vehicle was seized as part of this investigation. Brothers Steven Williams, 35, of Jamestown and Bradley K. Williams, 31, of Russell Springs were taken into custody and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. Both are charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Both men were served with "Fugitive from Justice" warrants Friday afternoon. January 30, 2015, after warrants charging them with Burglary were obtained by Waycross, GA Police investigators. Additionally, arrest warrants have also been issued for a third Russell County man.
