Unemployment rates down, all 7 CM area counties, Dec 2014

Taylor & Green, likely benefitting most from the "Amazon effect" have lowest unemployment for December 2014 in the CM 7-County area

  1. Taylor Co. unemployment, down from 6.9%, 2012, to 4.6%, 2014
  2. Green Co, unemployment, down from 7.1%, 2013, to 4.7%, 2014
  3. Casey Co. unemployment, down from 8.0%, 2013, to 5.6%, 2014
  4. Adair Co. unemployment down from 7.8%, 2013, to 5.7%, 2014
  5. Metcalfe Co. unemployment, down from 8.6%, 2013, to 5.8%, 2014
  6. Cumberland Co. unemployment, down from 9.5%, 2013, to 6.1%, 2014
  7. Russell Co. unemployment, down from 9.8%, 2012, to 9.6%, 2014
The U.S. unemployment rate for December 2014 was 5.4%. The rate for the state of Kentucky was 5.1 %. The rate for the Lake Cumberland Area Development District rate for December 2014 was 6.2%.
