Ben Finn: Billy Joe Fudge story reminds of visits to Dr. Howard He still has receipt for his delivery which his mother saved. The total cost? Just $300! Ben Finn writes: I read with great interest Billy Joe's story about Dr Howard. Dr. Howard delivered me in 1950 at Glasgow and I saw him several times in the 50's. I have a receipt for my delivery that my mother saved. The charges for hospital stay, Dr. and all was around $300, of course, that's before most people had insurance and Medicare. --Ben finnComments re photo 58666 Metcalfe Historical Marker Dr CC Howard This story was posted on 2015-01-30 01:04:02
