The Blue Raiders racked up five or more points in six of their eight victories en route to winning their second MSC dual of the year.

Lindsey Wilson used a fast start to build a 20-point lead over the Patriots after four weight classes.

Chad Lampe began the day with a 4-2 decision win over James Nolan at 125 pounds for the 3-0 lead. Felix Casa del Valle then recorded the first Blue Raider pin of the day after coming from behind to upset Grant Burkhalter, ranked No. 13 at 133 pounds, in four minutes and 35 seconds to extend the lead to 9-0.

After the Patriots forfeited at 141 pounds, Isaac Thomas posted a shutout as he defeated Terry Stockton with a 16-0 technical fall in six minutes and 15 seconds to make it 20-0.

At the 157-pound class, Joe Cozart, No. 1 at 157, was upset by Tristan Macri. No. 12 at 149, with a 2-1 decision loss. Macri used his length to keep Cozart at bay and handed the Blue Raider his first loss against NAIA competition since the 2012-13 season.

After Cumberlands forfeited the 165-pound match, Lindsey Wilson lost their second and final match of the night at 174 pounds.

Erick Gomez (No. 7 at 174) fell in a tight 3-2 decision to Sean Bateman, making the score 26-6 in favor of Lindsey Wilson.

Lindsey Wilson got back to the winning ways at 184 pounds as Michael Pixley dominated Eddie Bernal with a 17-2 technical fall victory in the first period, gaining the 15th and decisive point just seconds before the buzzer. Pixley remains undefeated at 7-0 on the season.

Jake Maupin kept the momentum going as he recorded the second Blue Raider pin of the night when he took down Devin Morrow at 197 pounds just over a minute into the match for six more points.

In the final match of the night, Ameer Daniels went toe-to-toe with Nicholas Auxier at 285 pounds. Both grapplers struggled to gain an advantage and after an escape by each in the second and third periods, the match went to overtime tied 1-1.

Once in overtime, Daniels was able to escape and keep Auxier from escaping and hold on for the TB-1 2-1 win, giving Lindsey Wilson the 40-6 match victory.
