Several fires in Big Clifty area prompt arson investigations

KSP Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

(BIG CLIFTY, KY.) –Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown and The State Fire Marshal’s Office have been requested to investigate several fires in the Big Clifty area of Grayson Co. since September 25, 2014.

On December 30, 2014 both agencies were notified by Chief Bob Williams of the East Grayson VFD of seven separate fire related calls.



The fire scenes include 3 field fires as well as 4 structure fires. The investigations are in preliminary stages and no criminal activity has been determined at this time.

Anyone with information in relation to these fires please contact KSP Post 4 at 270-766-5078 or The Ky. State Fire Marshal’s Office at 1-800-27-ARSON.
