Marion County man jailed after fleeing on foot, capture

Taylor Co. Deputies apprehend Mr. Diaz Douglas at intersection of Fairview and Friendship Pike. Besides Taylor Co. charges, Douglas served four warrants from Marion County, lodged in Taylor County Detention Center.

News from Taylor County Sheriff's Office

Taylor County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a 911 call in reference to a domestic situation on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Deputy Mark Dickens arrived on the scene at the intersection of Fairview and Friendship Pike in Taylor County. According to the sheriff's report, Mr. Diaz Douglas, 25 of Lebanon, KY, gave a false name to Deputy Dickens and then fled on foot.



Douglas was apprehended by Sheriff's Deputies moments later on Friendship Pike.

Douglas was arrested and transported to Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY. He was charged with Fleeing/Evadiing Police on foot and giving officer false name and address. He was also served four outstanding warrants from Marion County.
