Collision takes life of 21 year old Green Countian Overcorrection a factor in fatality collision on Columbia Road, just outside Greensburg, KY Followup to Larry Smith story: GCSO is working two car collision on Columbia Road By Larry Smith, FM 99.9 the Big Dawg and FM 92.7 the WAVE Tyler Murphy, age 21, of Gabe Road, Summersville, KY lost contol of his automobile at about 4:51pmCT, yesterday, January 21, 2015, on Columbia Road/KY 61 just south of Greensburg, KY. Murphy overcorrected and was struck by a Ford Pickup operated by James Hack, 44 years old, of Hodgenville, KY. Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene by Green County Deputy Coroner Nick Cheatham. Hack was transported by Green County EMS to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY for treatment. The accident was investigated by Green County Deputy Sheriff Josh Judd.
