LWC Men Track & Field at UK Invitational 16-17 Jan 2015

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's indoor track and field team travels to Lexington, Kentucky this weekend to compete in the University of Kentucky Invitational on Friday, January 16, 2015 and Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 3pmCT/4pmET, at the Nutter Field House, 1401 Sports Center Drive Lexington, Kentucky 42544.



Austin Childress, Dante Johnson, Marcus Terrell and John Paul Williamson headline the squad competing in the men’s distance medley relay beginning at 6:15pmCT on Friday.

Childress will compete in the 1200 meter event, while Johnson is set to compete in the 400 meter event.

Terrell will compete in the 800 meter event, while Williamson and Ben Hoffman are scheduled to run in the 1600 meter event.

On Saturday, Carmetrick Ross represents the Blue Raiders in the men’s high jump and long jump finals at 8 amCT and 9amCT, respectively. Johnson will compete in the men’s 60 meter hurdle semi final at 11:15 a.m. CT on Saturday, followed by the finals at 11:55amCT.

Josh Kles competes in the men’s shot put event at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, while Childress is scheduled to compete in the men’s 800 meter event at 1:50pmCT. Williamson rounds out the team with a 3pmCT start in the men’s 3,000 meter event..
