Columbia Police make meth possession arrest Mon 12 Jan 2015

CPD Sgt. Gary Roy, assisted by Sgt. Tracy McCarol, stopped to investigate situation in parking lot of local business on Oak Street, make arrest, late Monday night

Columbia Police Department arrested 24 year old Brandon Burton of Adair County on Methamphetamine charges



On Monday, January 12, 2015, at 10:52pmCT, CPD Sgt. Gary Roy stopped to investigate a suspicious person in the parking lot of a local business located on Oak Street. After further investigation the suspect was arrested and charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree ( methamphetamine ) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Public Intoxication.

Burton was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Sgt. Roy who was assisted by Sgt. Tracy McCarol.
