KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY Activity Report for Dec 2014 By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer COLUMBIA, KY - During the month of December 2014, there were 18 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of December in the Post 15 area.
State wide fatality count stands at 663 compared with 638 through this same period in 2013. During the month of December 2014, there were 1662 citations written, 36 courtesy notices written, 1198 vehicles inspected, 655 complaints answered, 65 motorists assisted, 71 criminal cases opened and 313 criminal arrests made.
