Personal commentary

Well after gas was at $1.99 for a few days, then went to $2.29 just as the cold hit, and now is down 27 cents.

Other places haven't had these wild swings in prices in the last few days so it must not have been a shortage issue.

This is just ultimately wrong. And again as usual they all changed prices downward and the same amount at the same time.

Did they all run out of gas at the same time again???

I respect peoples right to make a profit but this just doesn't look right to the people of our community. If there were problems with getting fuel it would have appeared in other communities near us as well.

I think they run it up a few days and then back down a few days to see what they can get by with. In other words, I am disgusted with them and their methods to make a quick profit at the costs of the Adair County people.

I will be purchasing as much fuel in other communities as I possibly can and I urge others to do the same until they can return to a more reasonable pricing policy.

We can all understand a few cents increase a day, but 30 cents in one day is outrageous. - Victoria Pike
