Yosemite man struck by Jeep while clearing limb from KY 70

Injured pedestrian treated and released at Casey County Hospital

LIBERTY, KY - Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 7:06pmCT on KY 70, 1 mile east of Yosemite. 33-year-old Jonathan Kelley, of Danville, was traveling west on KY 70, operating a 2001 Jeep. Kelley struck 25-year-old Tyler Barrett, of Yosemite, who was in the roadway removing a tree limb which he had cut from a tree in the yard of his residence.



Barrett was transported to Casey County Hospital where he was treated and released. Kelley, who was wearing a seatbelt, and a passenger in his car, 24-year-old Derek York, of Danville, were not injured. York was not belted. Tpr. Likins was assisted at the scene by Casey County EMS.
