Campbellsville Tiger Wrestling climbs to No. 4 in NAIA Rankings By Chris Megginson KANSAS CITY, MO - Tiger Wrestling climbed one spot to No. 4 in the latest NAIA Top 20 Coaches' Poll, the national office announced New Year's Eve. Campbellsville, which has 72 points in the poll, jumped now No. 5 Great Falls (Mont.) in the poll by 1.5 points. Cody Steiner (125 pounds) and Kyle Terry (149 pounds) both lead the East Region and are ranked No. 4 at their weight in the NAIA. Shawn McGhee climbed one spot to No. 4 at 157 pounds in the NAIA and sits second in the East behind two-time defending national champion, ranked No. 1, Joe Cozart of Lindsey Wilson College. Sam Conners (141 pounds) and Travis McIntosh (174 pounds) also both lead the East Region and are both ranked No. 5 in the NAIA. Chuck Sharon (185 pounds) and Nate Knauf (197 pounds) are each ranked No. 9 in the their weight. Grand View (Iowa) remains the No. 1 team in the nation for the 20th consecutive poll with 177 points. Southern Oregon, Montana State-Northern round out the Top 3. No. 6 Indiana Tech is the second-highest ranked team out of the East Region behind Campbellsville. Life University, ranked No. 11, is second among Mid-South Conference programs, followed by Lindsey Wilson at No. 12. University of the Cumberlands, Cumberland University and first-year program St. Catharine College, which is coached by CU alum Spencer Adams, are all receiving votes.
