Jackie Helm, 55, of Columbia, KY, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 3:08amCT, at his home.

Funeral service will be Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 3pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Steve Pescolido officiating. Burial, will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 5pmCT, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the funeral home.


Jackie Helm, 55, Adair County, KY (1959-2014)

He was born Sunday, January 4, 1959, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of Beulah Compton Bottoms, who survives, and the late Hershel Helm. He died Thursday, January 1, 2014, at his home in Columbia, KY, at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and 28 days.

Mr. Helm was a welder.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Helm. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Kim Harvey Helm of Columbia, KY

  • His mother: Beulah Compton Bottoms of Russell County, KY

  • One son: Bryan (Joni) Helm of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Lacey Helm and Beth Helm, both of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Saundra Froggett of Edmonton, KY; and Brenda Pennington and Phyllis Wright both of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Will Thompson and Gracie Burton
