She was a native of Fairplay, KY, and a resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan at the time fo her death. She was the daughter of the late Robert Elmer and Nola Brummett Loy and the widow of Robert Churchill. She Mrs. Churchill was a retired grocery cashier and a homemaker.

Evalee Loy Churchill, 84 years of Ypsilanti, Michigan formerly of Fairplay, KY passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her home after several months illness. Funeral service: Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bob McCann the officiating clergy. Interment in the Loy Cemetery at Fairplay, KY the family request visitation after 9amCT, on Saturday at the funeral home


Evalee Loy Churchill, 84, Adair County, KY (1930-2014)


She was born in Fairplay, Adair County, KY, September 25, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Robert Elmer and Nola Brummett Loy. She died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw Couny, Michigan, at the age of 84 years, two months, and 29 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Bob Churchill and the following siblings: John Birtrus Loy, Robert Dellus Loy, Clifton Loy, Albert Wesley Loy, Elmer Joy Jr. , Victoria Green, Sophia Loy Wheelock and Kathleen Buchanan.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three brothers: Joe Frank Loy of New Mexico; Sammy Loy of Louisville, KY; and David Loy of LaGrange, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
Mrs. Churchill was a retired grocery cashier and a homemaker.
