Peg Schaeffer: On Amazing Generosity of people of this area

Photo accompanies this article

By Peg Schaffer

Once again the generosity of the people in this area never ceases to amaze me. It was Donna Nichols' of Russell Springs birthday on Sunday. Her family and friends had a party for her on Saturday. Instead of gifts for herself Donna asked for presents for dogs.

She then came to Sugarfoot Farm Rescue on Sunday and donated her gifts to us. She brought dog food, treats, toys, harnesses, and bowls. The dogs thought it was Christmas. They had a blast with the toys and loved the treats. Thanks to Donna for her kindness.

In the accompanying photo by Lacey Beckwith are Morgan (who was mentioned in Sunday's Happy Tail) and Elmo who is available for adoption, checking out the presents Donna Nichols of Russell Springs donated to Sugarfoot Farm Rescue.
