Campbellsville, KY, Police make arrests in alleged adult abuse Elderly woman found in 'neglectful condition.' and taken to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of open sores on the body. Two lodged in Taylor County Jail, charged with one count each of Adult Abuse 1st degree By Anne Sanders, Campbellsville 911 The Campbellsville Police Department initiated an investigation into the alleged abuse of an elderly person, on Monday, December 8, 2014, and have made two arrests in he case. Campbellsville Police officers were called to assist the Campbellsville - Taylor County Emergency Medical Services after CTCEMS was called to 903 Gardenia Drive in Campbellsville for a medical assistance call. Upon arrival of responding officers, they discovered an elderly female resident at this address living in a "neglectful" condition. The elderly person was located in a room in the residence lying on a mattress which was deteriorated with exposed wire springs in an unsanitary condition. The elderly person was removed from the residence and transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of open sores to the body. Officers summoned the assistance of the Department for Community based Services - Adult Protection to assist with the investigation. Arrested and lodged in the Taylor County Jail were Terry Lynn Peyton; w/m; age 55; Campbellsville and Timothy D. Peyton; w/m; age 52; Campbellsville. Both were charged with one count each of Adult Abuse 1st degree in violation of KRS 209.990(2); a Class C Felony.
