Hello , My name is Bruce Brown from Paducah KY. My Grandfather, Harry Ward from Bardwell KY passed away afew years ago and I have been going through his pictures. He has a lot from his time in Europe in WWII.
I was lucky that he managed to write down the names and home towns from several people in his pics.
However sometimes his handwriting was small and hard to read. I found this one of Findel Coomer from Columbia, KY, but was unable to find him on your list of local veterans.
Maybe "Findel" was his middle name or nick name. I would hope some of his family is still around and would like this picture. I possible have more. I see in your area there are lots of Coomer's .
