Chester Ernest Williams, Sr., Taylor Co., KY (1927-2014) He was a member of Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and sang in the Men’s Chorus. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed spending time fishing. His wife, Mary Chatherine Davis Williams, survives. He leaves 38 direct living descendants. Chester Ernest Williams, Sr., age 87, of Campbellsville, KY died Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Campbellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT, Monday, December 1, 2014, at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Union Church Road, Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family requests visitation 10am-12pm noon CT/11am-1pmCT, Monday at the church Chester Ernest Williams, Sr., Taylor Co., KY (1927-2014) Chester was born March 27, 1927 in Marion County, KY to the late John Milton, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hazelwood Williams. He died Thursday, November 27, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 87 years, eight months. He was also preceded in death by a son, Walter L. Williams, a daughter Dorothy Ann Williams; a granddaughter, Temigi Scott and 13 brothers and sisters, He was a member of Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Union Church Road, Campbellsville, KY; where he served as a trustee and sang in the Men’s Chorus. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed spending time fishing. He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Davis Williams, and the following:
