Injury collision Thanksgiving night at KY 55 & Milder Creek

Passenger in one vehicle taken to Taylor County Regional Hospital by Taylor County EMS

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - On Thursday, November 27, 2014, at 10:53pmET, the Taylor County Sheriff's Department investigated a two vehicle injury accident at the intersection of KY 55 and Milde Creek.



The TCSO reports that acccording to statements given and physical evidence at the scene, Shelley Smith, age 50, of Bardstown, KY was traveling north on Milder Creek in a 2011 Buick.

Marshall Steele, 18, along with passenger Gabby Doerr, was traveling north on KY 55 and failed to stop at the stop sign and attempted to make a left turn, sideswiping the Smith vehicle as it pased the intersection, forcing the Smith vehicle to leave the roadway.

Gabby Doerr, the passenger in the Steel vehicle was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. TCSO Deputy Mark Dickens investigated.
