Adair County Primary Center is Selling....nothing but the best!! ACPC's Best-A-Thon will raise money for what kids want most right now for their playground - more swings. Students are accepting donations and pledges for being their best at an activity or event of their choice. Click on headline for complete story w/photo By Patty Jones, Principal Adair County Primary Center, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY The students of Adair County Primary Center are serious about being their best. As a matter of fact, they are banking on it. On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, they all will be participating in the school's Best-A-Thon. This is an event where students are accepting donations and pledges for being their best at an activity or event of their choice. The money raised from this special event will go toward adding more swings to the new playground at ACPC. More swngs #1 thing students are asking for This is the #1 thing our students have asked for and we want to give them our best for doing their best. All of this is in conjunction with our continuing efforts toward the Leader in Me program and helping our students learn to make good choices to better their lives. Each students gets to choose what they feel they do best. Choices range from reading to dancing to bowling and acting. There are 16 events in all. We are asking our families and the community to support our students in this effort. If you would like to pledge or make a donation you may do so through any ACPC student or simply call the school at 270-384-3367 and we can help you out! You may also email at patty.jones@adair.kyschools.us for more info or to make a pledge/donation. Hope this will be successful, negating the need for a traditional fundraiser It is our hope that this effort will be so successful that we do not have to have a traditional fundraiser this year. Time will tell on that, but we do know that we want to keep our promise to our students for more swings whatever it takes! - Patty R. Jones, Principal Adair County Primary Center 158 Col.
