Campbellsville Police make arrest in vehicle break-in case

From the Campbellsville, KY E- 9-1-1 Center

On Saturday, November 22, 2014 the Campbellsville Police Department was able to make an arrest involving a person responsible for a vehicle break-in, which was reported earlier this month.

John David Smith age 37 of Campbellsville was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000; he was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY.

The Campbellsville Police Department is currently still investigating several other vehicle break-ins that could result in additional charges and arrests.

The Campbellsville Police Department wants to remind all Campbellsville residents to please secure their vehicles when unattended, due to an increase in vehicle break-ins around the holiday season. Please report any unusual foot traffic or suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
