Lindsey Wilson Wrestling ranked No. 6 in NAIA Lindsey Wilson College Wrestling jumps three spots in latest NAIA Coaches' Top 20 Poll, to No. 6. Campbellsville University is No. 8. Click on headline for complete story By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson wrestling team leaped three spots to No. 6 in the first regular season NAIA Coaches' Top 20 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday, November 18, 2014. The Blue Raiders are receiving 55.5 total team points. The top three remain the same from the preseason poll. Grand View (Iowa) sits in first with 150 total points, Southern Oregon is ranked No. 2 with 98.5 total points and Great Falls (MT) is ranked third totaling 97.5 points. Campbellsville (KY) is the only other Mid-South Conference institution in the poll ranked eighth with 49.5 total points. Cumberlands (Ky.) is currently receiving votes with 15.5 total points. Lindsey Wilson has seven individuals ranked in their respective weight classes. James Flint comes in at No. 7 in the 125-pound weight class with 28 total points, while Isaac Thomas is ranked 13th with 11.5 total points in the 149-pound weight class. Joe Cozart remains the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the 157-pound weight class with 80 total points. Mitchell Judkins is tied for sixth in the 165-pound weight class with 29.5 total points and Erick Gomez is tied for fifth in the 184-pound weight class with 39 total points . Jake Maupin is ranked 15th in the 197-pound weight class with 4.5 total points, while Chico Adams is ranked 15th in the 285-pound weight class with six total points.
