LWC Volleyball in MSC Tournament semi-finals 15 Nov 2014 Blue Raider Volleyball plays Cumberlands (KY), Saturday, November, 15, 2014, 9amCT/10amET, at the Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY 4271 By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 1-seeded Lindsey Wilson volleyball team plays fifth-seeded Cumberlands (KU) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinals Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 9amCT in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The Blue Raiders (31-2) are coming off a 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-19, 25-11) over No. 8 seed Cumberland (TN) on Friday, Nov. 14. Yeniffer Ramirez led the team with 14 kills and Nadelina Nesheva tallied 12 kills. Makenzie Montano had a game-high 28 assists. Cumberlands (22-13) defeated No. 4 seed Shawnee State (Ohio) Friday afternoon 3-0. Jennifer Philpot led the Patriots with 14 kills and Morgan Schlatter added 13 kills. Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands squared off twice during the season, both resulting in 3-0 wins for the Blue Raiders. The most recent matchup between the two squads came on Nov. 3 as Ramirez led the squad with 19 kills. Sarah Shilling, Sarah Anderson and Daryna Liutikova each tallied seven kills. No. 2 seed Georgetown (KY) advanced to the MSC Tournament semifinals with a 3-0 win over seventh-seeded Pikeville (KY) on Friday.
