Ramirez MSC Volleyball PoY; Coach Cavins is conferenxe CoY

Lindsey Wilson's Ramirez Player of the Year, Montano Freshman of the Year and Cavins named Coach of the Year at MSC Volleyball Awards Banquet. Five Blue Raiders selected to First Team All Mid-South Conference

COLUMBIA, KY - Yeniffer Ramirez was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Year, Makenzie Montano was named Freshman of the Year and head coach Andy Cavins earned Mid-South Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year honors, conference officials announced on Friday.



The Blue Raiders totaled six all-conference selections, five First Team members and one Second Team selection.

Sarah Anderson, Makenzie Montano, Nadelina Nesheva, Yeniffer Ramirez and Sarah Shilling were all named First Team All-Conference selections. Catie Cline garnered Second Team All-Conference recognition.

The five first-team members for the Blue Raiders are the most of any team in the conference.
