Two injured in collision on Knifley Road/KY 76 Taylor County, KY Both drivers treated at the scene, then transported to Taylor Regional Hospital, then to a Louisville Hospital. Taylor County Deputies Dickie Benningfield and Ricky Underwood, were assisted at the scene by Taylor County Fire and Rescue Click on headline for complete story By Larry Smith, FM 92.7 the WAVE A two vehicle collision occurred on Knifley Road/KY 76 at 17.40pmET, Thursday, 13 Nov 2014, injuring both drivers, who were taken to the Taylor County Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY. Both were later transported to a Louisville hospital. Their condition is not known at press time. the Taylor County Sheriff's office repots that Manuel Mings, 54, of Roberts Road, Campbellsville, KY, wa traveliing east in a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe, on KY 76; and Ocilla Perkins, 69, Speck Ridge Road, Campbellsville, 69, was traveling west in a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. As the vehicles met, they made contact; the impact caused the Mings vehicle to swerve out of control and roll over. The driver was able to free himself from he overturned vehicle. Both drivers were injured in the collision. Both were treated at the scen by Taylor EMS and were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for additional treatment, and bother were later transported to a Louisville hospital. Their condition is not known at time of this story. Taylor County Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
